Day 52 - Another lazy day at Lorella (Thur June 14th)
Today was spent kicking back at camp, in the hot springs and making damper. We made a sweet damper today, and covered it with maple syrup, yum.
In the afternoon we climbed the goat track behind the homestead to the top of the hill to watch the sun set over the vast countryside. We grabbed a take away rum can from the bar, at $10 each, we savoured every drop. We could see a bush fire burning on a ridge on the horizon, the smoke turned red from the sunset.
We've enjoyed our relaxing 3 days here, and will head off in the morning, along the Nathan River road again towards Roper Bar.
