Day 40 – Lawn Hill Canoeing (Sat June 2nd)

Not a cloud in the sky today for our canoe trip up the gorge. We spent 2 ½ hrs canoeing up and down, and stopping for a swim at Indarri Falls.

Turtles and ospreys showed their faces today, no fresh water crocodiles though.
The canoes are $30/hr for a 3 person canoe.

Back at Adels Grove we shouted ourselves lunch at the restaraunt, we sat out on their big timber deck overlooking the creek. Very nice indeed.

We head of tomorrow to Kingfisher Camp, which is about 140km NW of Adels Grove. This afternoon we started packing up, the annex etc, and getting ready to leave in the morning.

Damon got another fire going this arvo and the kids loved toasting their marshmellows. Poor Damon has a cold and has retired early. I'm sitting up writing the blog, im quite far behind, and will have to post a lot when we are back in service. Who knows when that will be.
