Relaxing at McGowan Island - Day 83 & 84 (Sun/Mon July 15th & 16th)

We spent a relaxing 3 nights and 3 days at McGowans -and  it was well worth the long haul out here!

We didn't want to leave, especially when it came to thinking about the drive south.

On Saturday we drove round to Honeymoon Bay where we spent the morning. The bay here is beautiful, the actual beach is nicer than McGowan's, and from what we've heard so to are the local family that lives here and manage the camping.

We still preferred our camp spot though, due to the grass and shade which makes it more comfortable - especially with little kiddies.

The days were very warm, which had us cooling of under the sprinklers and also a cold showers. We played it safe and didn't swim here as there are crocodiles around, although we know of some people that were swimming at Honeymoon Bay.

The sunsets were awesome, they kept on getting better each evening, with our last one being the best!! We were treated with a wonderful sunset to remember our stay here, they're were dolphins and also a crocodile not far off shore.
