Day 66 - Mindil Beach Markets (Thur June 28th)
After a general cleanup of the car and camper, which included removing as much of the red dust as we could, we took the kids to the free water park at Leanyer.
The water park is just down the road from Lee Point Caravan Park and is a great place to chill out in the warm Darwin weather. They have a kids water park, swimming area, 3 x 14m high water slides, an all abilities playground, skate park, bbq's and picnic shelters.
The afternoon was spent at the famous Mindil Beach Markets. Strolling though all the funky stalls, choosing what amazing food to eat, watching the large red sun sink into the Timor Sea and enjoying the talented buskers perform. We love the atmosphere here, everyone is in a good mood, the food smells wonderful, the music is great and the sunset is like none other.
